A practical starting point assessment that looks at the condition, layout and energy efficiency of your home. We help you understand any repair or maintenance issues, identify sensible first steps, and consider how your budget could be used to improve comfort, efficiency and suitability for future retrofit measures.
What to expect
After a short call to understand your goals and arrange a visit, a Technical Officer will carry out a basic condition assessment inside and outside your home. They will look at areas such as windows, doors, walls, roof condition, insulation, damp and mould, and your heating and hot water systems. They will also review your EPC, discuss likely retrofit options, and check whether you may be eligible for grants, loans or other support. You will receive a Retrofit readiness and condition report, which will help initiate your retrofit journey.
